Cassation Court upheld the decision of the lower court to imprison a police officer and his aides who tortured a coffee shop owner until death

The Court of Cassation has upheld the decision to punish Mohamed Mubarak Aly, police officer, Zaghloul Mohamed Hegab, and Ahmed Ibrahim Madany, police aides, who work in El Siada Zeinab police station. The three torturers have tortured Mahmud Gabr Mohamed, a coffee shop owner, until death. They had imprisoned him and tortured him to extract confessions about stealth crimes. The general prosecutor's office has accused them of beating the victim with a thick stick on his head for two hours and subsequently transferring him to the hospital carrying him on their shoulders while his severely bleeding and thus he died as a result of that.
