Jordan: A specialized newspaper for the poor and tangibles.

24/4/2005

After more than month in delay the Jordanian circle for publishing and printing gave the permission to the journalist and researcher Ahmed Abu Khalil to issue a monthly newspaper for the poor and tangibles named "Almastour" which is considered the first of its kind as it puts the causes of the poor on the top of its priorities and faces the official authorities regarding their attitudes towards those classes.

The Jordanian circle for publishing and printing refused to give the newspaper a license and this is considered the third time the circle refuses to license a newspaper despite the law of publishing no. 8 for the year 1998 states that it must inform the publication administration with its final opinion either accepting or refusing the license demand.

The first issue is going to appear at the beginning of next June in 36 pages.
