Egyptian Judges fight against corruption and falsification

17/4/2005

A strong and powerful move from the Egyptian judges against the continuance of the state control over judiciary associations.

They announced their refusal to accept the governmental bribes to close their eyes and supervise the elections without total powers so that the police and security forces will be able to falsify the results which happened along many decades.

The judges demanded the internal ministry to stop its practices aiming to terrify the citizens and declared that they stick to clean elections that really reflect the will of the Egyptian people without any kind of interference or falsification from the internal ministry.

This won't be fulfilled without total, real judiciary supervision.
