Emergency Law and systematic repression increase number of prisoners of conscious
The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information confirmed that the severe deterioration of general freedoms and declining economic situations shouldn't divert attentions from the Egyptian prisons being crowded with prisoners whose only "crime" was their peaceful calling for democracy. The actions taken against opposition candidates and Muslim Brotherhood by the government in order to prevent them from running into next local elections is a systematic campaign against political & civil freedoms, and the Arabic Network is warning that the continuation of these conditions of police repression could eventually herald a state of disarray & complete chaos.
