sudanese refugees who gather in Cairo


we are the sudanese refugees who gather in Cairo, along arab league street in front of Mostafa Mahamuod mosque near the UNHCR office from 29/9/05 to our present day, our number is 3000 men and women and 300 children in small area of not more than 300sqm, and we are sleeping on the ground with our eyes facing to the sky without blankets in the hard coldness with no food and water our health got detorerate and the conditions are so bad we demonestrate as a result of the discrimination and luck of human rights we are subjected to from the side of UNHCR stuffs in Cairo. our demand run as follow..
    1.we object the voluntary repatriration.
    2. we object local resettlement.
    3.we object illegal detention.
    4.we refuse distinguishing between sudanese refugees according to their ethnic background or geographical zones.
    5.we request the UNHCR to consider sudanese refugees status determiination as individuals not as a group.
    6.we request not to apply the four freedom principles between sudanese goverment and Egyptian goverment on sudanese refugees.
    7. we request the UNHCR to protect sudanese refugees from national confrence party personnel in cairo. 8.we demand for the reopening of closed files.
    9. we demand the UNHCR to deal with sudanese refugees as individual not as agroup.
    10. we object the dialgue with the communities in the name of the sudanese refugees that support( voluntery repatriration and the local resettlement).
    11.we demand the regestration of the new refugees immediatly after their arrival.
    12. we demand the UNHCR to find out the lost sudanese refugees
    13.we demand the evacuation of the troops from the UNHCR office in Cairo.
    14.we demand aid for the sudanese refugees from humanterian organization.
    15.we demand for the care of over age people and children in general.
    16.we demand the reply for the complains of the sudanese refugees
    17. we object the humalations of the sudanese refugees from the stuffs of the UNHCR office in Cairo
    18. we demand the implementation of the appointments and the reopening of the closed files as fast as posible.

    19. we demand for the comprehensive solution for the sudanese refugees problems or either trasfer them to other countries.


Or either this demonstration will continue untill we achive our rights. In the 36 past days to our present day of demonstration we witness many desarsters as follow
    1. five dei and leave their families
    2. six born with no help of doctors.
    3.one condition of abortion.
    4. O.T.P condition among the children.
    5.Deterrioration in the health of pregancy women and over age people.
    6. The spreat of transmiting deases such as(T.B, lever deases,romatasims,amoebic dysentry , and three admited in the hospital ....etc)
    7. we are exposed to hot sun rays during the days and very cold weather during the nights as no enough blankets.
And also we are exposed to some events in our camp such as
    1. There is no any humanterian org allowed to help us.
    2. Medias are not allowed enter the camp.
    3. Some sudanese spy from sudan embassy are allowed to enter the camp and make fighting with the refugees .
    4. two of the refuugees were abduct from the camp by the security men of the sudan goverment.
We are the voice of the sudanese refugees in Cairo, appeal to your kind hearts and your human concious in which we do trusth on to come and see by your eyes and find out the truth so that our may reach to the out world through you exellency.
