False talks about the foreign aid

The issue of the foreign Fund will continue to occupy a large space in the political scene in Egypt, it will remain also to be a tool that some parties use falsely against others to achieve personal interests. An obvious example for that the wild campaigns that run for long years through some newspapers to attack those who obtain foreign aid, accusing them of betrayal and being foreign agents.
There is also some civil society organizations who have been benefiting from the foreign aid for long years and who discovered at the end of the day that they were deceived. They start accusing the others of being dishonest, corrupted and foreign agents, without even mentioning any thing about their previous fund sources and how much they gained from the foreign fund and how they spent the money they were obtaining for over ten years.
This reminds us, of course, of that press release published by a "Center" three years ago pointing at the foreign fund and all those who still dealing with it as "not patriot enough"!
we are not sure if that "Center" has lost its patriotism for receiving foreign fund along eight years and is it the time now for walking up and cut with the foreign fund for the sake of the "country"!
it is clear that what that "Center" committed with nothing but a kind of maneuvering that pushed its "director" to use Radical big words against USA, and the West to show how a "patriot" citizen he is!
The mentioned above press release states that "the Center adopted that situation of cutting with the foreign fund after going through a sour experience during the period 1998-2004, when we obtained foreign fund" what needs a correction here is that the mentioned period started actually at 1997, and that it takes a long eight years for them to discover the disadvantages of the foreign fund. After a long eight years of benefiting from the foreign fund to create personal fortune their eyes are suddenly unfolded to see how dangerous is the matter.
The press release includes big words like "the system of the international organizations and the international instruments are falling down. They have done nothing in the critical situations of occupying Iraq or against the continuing Israeli violations of the UN decisions, etc…" and the rest of those radical slogans which are riding the horse of defending the struggle of the peoples of Iraq and Palestine.
It comes to my mind now a phrase for the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish saying to the Palestinian people "take off your shoes from the Arabian ruler castle for not to use it as a medal of honor"
In fact what that "Center" leaders are trying to do is to cover their corruption with the slogans of patriotism, exactly as the Arab rulers are using the same big words to sweet their humiliation and betrayal of the Palestinian people every day and night.
In the same context , that "Center" does no forget to include the press release with some lines about Democracy in Egypt and the demands of the national movements, as well as criticizing the government which does not adopt those noble demands!
The irony is that the "Center" which dedicate itself to teach us the principles of Democracy does not enjoy any kind of internal Democracy!. Along ten years since that "Center" was founded, it is leaded by the same director who is dominating every tiny matter inside the "Center" without allowing any body to interfere, put aside to has the right to have a different point of view.
The Schizophrenia comes to its extreme when the press release mentions that the "Center" expressed its attitude towards, the foreign fund in a report about the human rights movement in Egypt, published in 1999. according to the press release "the foreign fund has to depend on certain basics such as, transparency and publicity, and that the civil society organizations should be responsible at clarifying and declaring the ways of expenditure and the objectives of whey they are receiving the fund for"
Again, ironically enough that "Center" never declared any thing about its budgets, or the value of amounts received since it was founded and until now neither to the public nor to the teamwork of the "Center". So, we argue that "Center" to tell us about some of its fund resources, and how the money spent.
Going deep in the false talk the press release states that the "Center" is "apologizing for all our honest people in the rural areas and in our dear country that we had to receive forcing fund in the previous period of time"
It is clear that the mentioned above press release implied a sense of accusing the others of being betrayals and unfaithful.
However we are totally against that press release and that close minded speech it presents, we seek those who adopt this kind of arguments to be transparent and honest. I would particularly refer to that "Center" who started again receiving foreign fund, Does it mean that they forgot all about "patriotism"! and what they would do with "our people in the rural areas" after its previous "apologizing"?!
Regarding the foreign fund organizations I would like to ask a question about do their Agendas include anything like supporting those who call for refusing "the others", those who are accusing the others of being "betrayals and foreign agents". those who are adopting close minded arguments, and who do not enjoy any degree of Democracy, transparency, or tolerance. Those who does not able to lead a peaceful internal conflict?
At the same time I would like to ask the civil society activists particularly those who cooperate with such type of arguments from that "Center" to give us one reasonable justification to help us understanding the schizophrenia and the contradictions which that "Center" has regarding the issue of the Foreign fund.
I am asking those organizations how do they make a reconciliation with that "Center" who declared a cut with the foreign fund and who did not hesitate to accuse all the others and who is once more accepting the foreign fund?
Those were mere questions that I wish to find answers for. An answer that give us a hope in tackling the phenomena of incredibility, falsity and playing with the people pains and hopes. We all are invited to respond or even to try to respond those questions or even some of them.
